Gyprock and plasterboard services across the Illawarra
We sheet, set and repair plasterboard walls and ceilings across the Illawarra and the Shoalhaven. New home builds are most of what we do, with renovations and repairs behind them. Every page below is a job we take, and each one says what the work involves and where it stops. We supply the board, the cornice and the compound on every job, so nothing on this list is labour only.
Every job below, and what each one actually involves
Each page is written from the work rather than from a brochure. It says what we do, what moves the price and where we stop. Nothing here is a category filled in to look complete.

Questions that come up whichever job it is
How do I know which of these services I need?
Most people do not, and it is not a problem. Ring or send a photo and describe what you can see rather than what you think it is. A stained ceiling might be a water damage job, a sagging ceiling job or a roof problem we will send you elsewhere for. We work out which one it is before quoting, because the wrong service quoted accurately is still the wrong answer. Picking from the list below is not something you have to get right first.
Do you charge for a quote or a site visit?
No. A quote costs nothing and neither does a visit, and there is no obligation either way. New builds and renovations are quoted from your floor plans and measured with digital tools. A repair is quoted from a photograph and a few sentences about what happened. Somebody comes out when the job needs eyes on it, and that visit is not charged for. The price reaches you in writing before anything is booked in.
Who turns up to do the work?
The owner is on every job, on the tools and running the site. He also answers the phone, so the person who quotes your job is the person who does it. That matters most when something on site turns out differently from the plans. The decision then gets made by somebody who saw the job when it was quoted. Nothing is handed to a stranger between the quote and the start date.
Can you work in around our other trades?
Yes. Plastering sits in the middle of a build and it has trades either side of it. We need the roof on, the rough in signed off and the insulation in before board goes up. We leave the walls sanded and ready for the painter's primer, and painting is not something we do. We build the lining around insulation and fire stopping that another trade supplies and installs. In a wet area we line the room and a licensed waterproofer seals it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Everyone working on your job is licensed and insured, and that is the whole of what we publish about it. We do not put the paperwork on this website, because those details change and a website does not. Ask us directly and you will get the current answer rather than whatever a page last said. It is worth checking with any trade you let into your house, and we would rather you asked.
Not sure which one you need?
Describe what you can see and we will tell you which job it is.
