Corrimal itself is a town centre, and East Corrimal and Towradgi sit down on the beach. Tarrawanna runs west from the highway and keeps going over the escarpment. Bellambi is back on the coast at the northern end of the postcode. Between the beach and the top of Tarrawanna the exposure changes completely, so the address decides the fixings.

Bellambi is inside 2518, and its station is the reference used for the whole Wollongong coast. Its record shows 9am humidity of 74 to 76 per cent right through January to March. February is both the wettest and the most humid month of the year here. It also shows no day at or below two degrees in 29 years, so cold is not the problem.
A creek that runs from the escarpment to the beach
The Towradgi Creek catchment is about 7.5 square kilometres and it drains to Corrimal Beach. It covers Tarrawanna, Corrimal, East Corrimal and Towradgi, which is four of the five places here. Council adopted a floodplain risk management plan for it in 2023. Where water has been into a wall we replace the board rather than drying it and hoping.
New build and old cottages in the same week
